Hayground Heroes Residency

Hayground Heroes Residency 2017-02-15T02:48:37+00:00

In its inaugural year, Hayground Heroes Residency is an education initiative that welcomes a group of students from the Hayground School for a residency at The Watermill Center. The students will be developing an original work of theater based upon improvisation and inter-generational interviews. They will use their residency to develop material, choreograph movements, and rehearse. The students, ages 11-13, will stage the finished work in March with public performances at Hayground School and other east end locations.

If you are interested in receiving more information about The Watermill Center’s educational programs, please contact Andrea Cote at andrea.cote@watermillcenter.org.

The Watermill Center’s Education Programs engage children as artists in their own right. Your gift will make a lasting impact on future artists, performers, researchers and students who come to The Watermill Center to learn and create.
