The Watermill Center invites you to join a five day trip to Paris in celebration of Robert Wilson. Bob has been selected by the Louvre Museum as their 2013 Grand Invité to curate three rooms of the museum.

The Salle de la Chapelle Gallery will showcase LIVING ROOMS with pieces from The Watermill Center Collection, recreating Watermill’s atmosphere in the most famous museum in the world. The Sphinx Court will be the stage for various performances throughout the exhibition period, including Robert Wilson in John Cage’s LECTURE ON NOTHING and Christopher Knowles performance of THE SUNDANCE KID IS BEAUTIFUL. There will also be various lectures, talks and screenings selected by Bob held in the Louvre Auditorium.

In addition to this, Bob’s production of Daniil Kharms, THE OLD WOMAN will be at the Theatre de la Ville, starring Mikhail Baryshnikov and Willem Dafoe.
