The Watermill Center invites you to a new program initiative, Saturdays @ WMC that focuses on unique ways to interact with The Watermill Center grounds, collection, studios and kitchen. On Saturday, May 18th from 12pm-3pm the Center is hosting local artists to lead workshops inspired by everything the Center has to offer.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

At 12:00 pm, enjoy an hour-long, free tour of The Watermill Center building and collection. No reservation required.

From 12:30 to 3:00 pm in the dining room, children of all ages are invited to create colorful translucent vessels inspired by pieces in Robert Wilson’s collection. Materials are limited so please reserve a spot in advance by clicking HERE.

From 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the large studio space, Hamptons Ashtanga yoga teacher Geoffrey Nimmer will offer a free yoga class for students of all levels and ages. Please bring your own yoga mat, towel and water. Make a reservation HERE.

From 1:00 to 2:00 pm, in our industrial sized kitchen, Red Horse Market Executive Chef Pasquale Langella will demonstrate the art of making mozzarella cheese, just like his family has done for hundreds of years in Naples, Italy.

The Watermill Center grounds will be open and available for sketching throughout the event (12:00 – 3:00 pm), materials supplied.

Saturdays @ WMC is supported in part by Crozier Long Island, Southampton, Red Horse Market, East Hampton, Arlotta Food Studios and CindyG for her creative connections. Cindy Farkas Glanzrock organizes FunFoodandFitness programs for kids and their families in the Hamptons and New York City.
