Michael Schindhelm, filmmaker and Cultural Director of Dubai's Culture and Arts Authority, introduces his mesmerizing documentary on the stunning and monumental National Stadium in Beijing, designed by internationally renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron. Herzog & de Meuron's other projects include the expansion of Tate Modern, the Walker Art Center, the de Young Museum and the design for the new Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill. This film looks at how Chinese culture has influenced the construction of the Olympic stadium as well as the work of the architects.
