an intimate artist dinner with Robert Wilson following a site-specific performance & artist reception
6:30 pm – performance (free)
7:30 pm – reception (free)
8:15 pm - dinner ($500)
After a successful performance and reception event in 2008 at The Bridge, The Watermill Center will once again present a site-specific work created by artists participating in The Watermill Center's International Summer Program at The Bridge on August 14th. Like the event in 2008, there will be reception immediately following the performance near the clubhouse with its spectacular views. This performance is free and open to the public.
This year The Bridge and Watermill will host an intimate dinner with founding Artistic Director Robert Wilson immediately following the reception. The performance and reception are both free and open to the public. This evening will be an exclusive opportunity to view a one of a kind performance uniquely staged for Robert Rubin's The Bridge and meet with one of the most iconic stage artists, Robert Wilson, to learn about his center and its dedication to emerging artists. Tickets for the dinner portion of the evening are $500 and can be purchased by contacting TJ Witham at (212) 253-7484 ext. 22 or tj.witham@watermillcenter.org. Please RSVP by Wednesday, August 11th.
