Where is the Watermill Center located?
The Watermill Center is located on 6 acres of rural land in Watermill, Long Island, New York. The town of Watermill is in The Hamptons, near Southampton. The Center is approximately 2 hours from New York city by bus, train, or car.

Can I come and visit the Center at any time?
The Center is not open to the public on a daily basis. If you'd like to visit the Center, please join our mailing list, and we will inform you of our open houses, tours, and public events.

Does the Center offer after school or summer programs for local school children?
Educational programs for children are part of the plan for the future programs of the Watermill Center. Please join our mailing list and we will keep you informed as these programs are added.

I would like to make a contribution to the Watermill Center. Where do I send the check? Is my contribution tax deductible?.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Watermill Center. The Center relies on its generous supporters to operate its programs. The Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation, operator of the Watermill Center, is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization in the United States. We also have a partner institution, the Robert Wilson Stiftung, registered in Germany. Your contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent of United States and German tax law.
