In addition to the official opening of the building, Jean Paul Barbier-Mueller curated the Center's collection in collaboration with Robert Wilson. Nine Ten projects in development were workshopped with the participants spanning opera, public art projects, architectural interventions, and multi-media performance installations for realization across the Uniteds States, Europe and Asia.
The annual benefit highlighted VOOM portraits, guest appearance from Dita von Teese, U-theatre, Corey Archangel, William Pope L, Christopher Knowles, artists from the premiere season of year-round residencies (Makram Hamdan and Collaboration Town) and the live auction as a presentation piece created by Andrey Bartenev.
