Artists’ Table includes a farm-to-table meal prepared by local chef and restaurateur Jason Weiner and features an intimate presentation by Artists-in-Residence BAKIS.

Chef Jason Weiner boasts extensive experience at many of the country’s top kitchens. Since 2001, he has served as executive chef and proprietor of Almond restaurant which opened its first location in Bridgehampton, NY, followed shortly thereafter by a second Almond outpost in Manhattan’s Flatiron District in 2008 and L&W Oyster Company in 2012.

During their residency, BAKIS will develop a new performance inspired by John Berger’s phrase “Men act and women appear. Men look at women. Women watch themselves being looked at. The work will center around an electronically prepared piano (a.k.a wired piano) and multiple projections of live and prerecorded video.

While at The Watermill Center, visual artist and member of The Shinnecock Indian Nation Jeremy Dennis will develop his digital project On This Site. Through his work, Dennis aims to represent The Shinnecock Tribe as a cultural producer and create awareness of the rich history of Native American settlements, burial sites and other sensitive locations throughout Long Island.

Each brunch takes place from 12:00pm – 2:30pm at The Watermill Center.

Advanced registration is required. Capacity is limited. The planned menu will be available one week before each brunch.
Tickets for each brunch are available for $75 per person.
*The Watermill Center Byrds and Collaborators of The Watermill Center at the Costume Designer level and above are eligible for a 10% discount, with a limit of two discounted tickets per member.
