Surrounding The Watermill Center’s facility are over ten acres of verdant lawns, pebbled terraces, gardens, and outdoor stages. In past years, support of our Garden Campaign has enabled us to design and execute rooftop, meditation, and sculpture gardens for our artists and most recently a wildflower meadow in honor of Clementine Hunter. Our grounds are open from dawn to dusk for the public to freely explore throughout the year.

Due to the continued concern over the COVID-19 virus and to follow State, County, and Township policies, The Watermill Center has instituted new safety measures for all visitors. Please read the guidelines below before visiting.
- If you have been fully vaccinated, you are welcome to walk the gardens without a mask. If you have not been fully vaccinated, masks must be worn during your entire visit.
- Maintain 6′ social distancing, unless with family members.
Please note that The Watermill Center’s building is closed to the public outside of scheduled events, including our restrooms.
- Please do not touch or climb the sculptures.
- Please do not pick the flowers or other vegetation.
- No smoking in the buildings or on the grounds.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult and within reach at all times.
- Do not enter any areas marked private, staff only, or no public access.
- Photography is permitted for personal use only. Drone photography is not permitted.
- The Watermill Center does not allow pets on the garden grounds. Service animals are permitted in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- No overnight parking.
